Specialty pharmacy services

content
If TUKYSA is prescribed, it can be sent to you by a specialty pharmacy. A specialty pharmacy understands the unique needs of people living with cancer. They can also fill prescriptions that may not be available at your local pharmacy.

Learn more about the specialty pharmacy process below.

Specialty pharmacy prescription coverage

If coverage has been confirmed with your insurance, your specialty pharmacy will call you to coordinate how you’ll receive TUKYSA and to collect any additional information needed.

Direct medication shipment

Someone will need to be at the delivery location to receive the package. Your shipping address, insurance coverage, and financial responsibility must be confirmed each time your prescription is filled.

Additional specialty pharmacy support

A dedicated team from your specialty pharmacy may connect with you regularly to:

  • Help you understand and navigate your prescription coverage
  • Answer questions about treatment or refills
  • Guide you to education, information and inspiration specific to your treatment journey
  • Update your healthcare team about your treatment experience

Calls from your specialty pharmacy are important.

content
They may call you at least 7 days before receiving your prescription.

Your specialty pharmacy may leave a voicemail, but because of privacy laws, they may not provide a lot of detail in their message. Keep in mind that these calls may come from an 800 number, the specific area code of your specialty pharmacy, or a blocked, unavailable, or unknown number on your caller ID.
